  The Consumer Services Division is responsible for gathering and responding to consumer inquiries regarding insurance company or producer activities.

  Contact about complaints or questions concerning the insurance industry, including brokers and agents. Free rate surveys available to the public. (Also send copies of written complaints about insurance rates to the Attorney General’s office; it is a Proposition 103 watchdog agency. Complaints against HMOs not licensed as insurance companies go to the Department of Corporations.)
