    Credit Counseling


  • Consumer Credit Counseling Service
    A non-profit community service agency that provides help in planning debt payments, credit and budget counseling and education. Fees to administer debt repayment plan are on a sliding scale; free if you cannot afford to pay. HUD certified housing education includes pre-purchase information, landlord/tenant counseling, early delinquency intervention and default counseling.

  • Consumer Credit Counseling Service (CCCS) of San Francisco
    Offers free money management, debt or housing counseling services and comprehensive workshops.

  • Consumer Credit Counseling Service (CCCS) of the East Bay
    Web site of the Consumer Credit Counseling Service for Alameda, Contra Costa and Solano Counties. They offer free and low-cost counseling to aid consumers with credit and money management issues.

  • National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC)
    NFCC is a national, non-profit network of 1,450 credit counseling centers. Their site provides debt and credit resources, on-line counseling and budget calculators, as well as a way to locate the Consumer Credit Counseling Service nearest you.
