  • Davis Human Relations Commission

  • Department of Aging (CDA)
    Call with complaints about nursing homes and residential care facilities. Also engages in advocacy for seniors and the disabled who are in long-term care facilities. Will refer callers to appropriate district offices for further assistance.

  • Department of Housing and Community Development

  • Federal Reserve Consumer Help

  • Federal Trade Commission (FTC)
    Enforces federal consumer protection laws concerning false advertising, deceptive business practices, inaccurate credit reports and handles complaints regarding credit cards, failure of banks to disclose credit terms, denial of credit because of discrimination and inaccurate disclosure of credit reports.
