There are multiple editions of the 'Guide', some which deal with specific issues such as housing or credit.   • Bureau of Home Furnishings and Thermal Insulation
    The Bureau of Home Furnishings and Thermal Insulation regulates upholstered furniture and bedding products sold in California to make sure they meet health, fire safety, and labeling standards.

  • Catholic Charities of Santa Rosa - Family Support Center
    Emergency shelter and support services for families with children, pregnant women, elderly, or disabled persons. Bilingual (Spanish-English).
 This agency provides emergency rental assistance funds to help tenants keep their rental units, or help with first month's rent and/or deposits for moving into a rental unit (HCA Fund Program).

  • Department of Housing and Community Development
    Contact with complaints about mobilehome sales, dealers and manufacturers, for warranty problems, escrow, contracts, fraud and misrepresentation, health and safety.

  • Federal Insurance Administration (FIA)
    The Federal Insurance Administration (FIA) administers the National Flood Insurance Program, available nationwide. These programs provide insurance coverage for events that are not covered by traditional homeowner's policies.

  • Little Tokyo Service Center
    Provides counseling, information and referral services. Their Housing & Real Estate Development program develops affordable housing units.

  • Orange County 211
    2-1-1 Orange County, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, provides a comprehensive information and referral system that links Orange County residents to community health and human services and support. Designated by the California Public Utilities Commission as the provider of this nationally recognized service, 2-1-1 Orange County makes the system available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to the 3,000,000 residents of this community.
